अपना Generation बीमार है,
विडम्बना बड़ी अपरम्पार है ।
चाहिए क्या Life से, उसे पता ही नहीं
Confusion में बस जिए जा रहा, समझकर ख़ुद को Sensible,
और हूं मैं एक Rebel, ये भी Illusion उसे हर बार है !
Parents से "Social Distancing" में रहता है
फिर भी Communication Gap ko रोता है
"They Never Understand Me" कहकर,
Happy Mother's day और Father's day वाली Formality bhi karta hai !
Likes & Followers का Number ही उसे Success लगता है
Lipsync और Cringe व्यवहार वाला भी ख़ुद को "Influencer" समझता है
Rude, Abusive और Judgemental होना काफ़ी Cool लगता है,
बिना Booze और Sutta के party करने वाला इसे Fool-sa दिखता है !
Culture & Tradition पर Wokism & Atheism भारी है...
कुछ के अंदर कीड़ा Pseudo Feminism ka,
तो कुछ के ऊपर Male Chauvinism की ख़ुमारी है !
और "Marriage is such a boring concept" वालों के लिए
Hookups & Freedom का flawed idea ही बहुत क्रांतिकारी है !
Past में लटका कर पांव Future की planning करते हैं,
और "I have moved on" वाला झूठ कहकर Present को ही ठगते हैं
Trust & Loyalty पे ज्ञान देना समझते परम अधिकार हैं
पर Words & Actions को poles apart रखना ही सबसे उच्च विचार है !
Well...करता हूं ख़ुद को इससे closely relate
क्यूंकि हम भी तो इसी generation का part है
क्षमा प्रार्थी हूं यदि किसी को इस सत्य से परिहार है,
पर तुम मानो या ना मानो....
Guys, अपना generation सच में बहुत बीमार है !

वो अहले सुबह के ख़्वाब-सी सुकून हो तुम,
ख्यालों की हद को बेहद कर दो, वो हक़ीकत हो तुम !
तुम्हारी बेलफ्ज़ बातों में भी एक अजब-सी नरमाहट है...
ख़ामोशियों को भी आवाज़ दे दे, कुछ ऐसी नज़ाकत है !
वो जो ज़ुल्फों की आग़ोश में हैं झुमके तुम्हारे,
लगता जैसे बादलों में से छुपकर है वो चाँद निहारे ।
हैरान हूँ तेरे रुख़सार में वाबस्ता नूर देखकर,
कुछ इस कदर हसीन है...जैसे पत्तियों से सरकती हो बारिशों की बूँद लेकर !

सौदा दिलों का फिर से एक दफ़ा करते हैं !
बिखरे हुए अरमानों के टुकड़े उठाते हैं,
क्यों ना एक ख़्वाब फिर से हम मिलकर सजाते हैं ?
आँखों की जानिब कहानियां एक दूसरे को सुनाते हैं,
लफ़्ज़ों के बग़ैर ही एक दूसरे के दिल में उतर जाते हैं !
ख़ामियां तो हज़ारों हैं हम में, सुनो ना....
उन ख़ामियों में ही अपने इश्क़ की जगह बनाते हैं !
